In Jewish myths Lilith is pictured as the wife of Adam. She was created after Adam and from the same dust.
Such a story is contrary to the story of Eve and Adam. In the story of Eve and Adam, Eve was created out of one of Adams ribs.
Additionally, in the writings of Isaac ben Jacob ha-Cohen (dated to the 13th century), Lilith refused to be dominated by Adam and left him for Archangel Samael. After the romance with Samael, Lilith refused to come back to the Garden of Eden.
It is clear that in Jewish myths, Lilith is pictured as a demon. The archetype Lilith appeared in Babylonian Talmud around the period of 3rd to 5th centuries.
This archetypal picture of the night demon Lilith has its roots in ancient Mesopotamian religion (texts of Sumer).
The seal of Lilith has two variations. Above you see the first variant.
The second seal of Lilith is produced by the method of reduction of repetitive letters in the name Lilith (not Hebrew letters!).
Both seals of Lilith are very popular, but the most important fact is this: they work!
Lilith is also mentioned in the Key of Solomon:
“The ninth Sephira is Yesod, or the fundamental principle. The Spirits of Yesod are the Cherubim or Angels, those powers which fecundate the earth, and which are represented in Hebrew symbolism under the form of bulls.
Their Empire is that of fecundity. They correspond to true ideas.
They have for adversaries the Gamaliel or obscene, whose Queen is Lilith, the demon of debaucheries.”
For me alike Witches, Lilith is a Goddess. She can help you in spells of:
lust and seduction
removing obstacles from your life path
If you want to summon Lilith you can use the correspondences of Yesod:
Ruling planet: Moon
Astro hour: Moon
Paper seal color: purple or silver
Metal seal: silver
Candle color: purple or silver
Scent: Jasmine (use Jasmine oil on seals)
Note: you can also use red and deep burgundy seals of Lilith for matters of lust and seduction. I have read the book of Ellen Dugan ” How to enchant a man” and she advises to use such colors in lust spells with Lilith.
